Initial & Final. What is the difference?

Hi All,

I'm just about to make the call and start a new tax credits claim (husband leaves tomorrow, then I can call) however I have a quickie question.

I've been using entitledto and at the end it says
Intial tax credit £88 pw
Final tax credit £124 pw

Both for the same period.

Does anyone know what this means?

Also, sometimes it says that I will get £19 pw WTC and at other times it just says CTC, even though the details are the same. Thats odd!

Anyhelp appreciated.

  • entitledto is a crap site.
the only way to really get an idea of what you are entitled to is ring the helpline and ask for an estimate!
the only debt left now is on credit cards! The evil loan has gone!! :j:j
