Good points:
They have good service, a relatively good range of funds covering many areas. Lifestyling fund switching without having to pick the lifestyle fund. Choice of when the lifestyle switching takes place. Technology set up is good allowing online valuations and servicing.
Bad points:
Stakeholder charge is standard 1% across the board regardless of amount in the fund. Larger funds can get lower charges with alternative providers.
Be wary of lower charge providers though. Its often only 0.1-0.3% difference but they are the ones that tend to have the worse service.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA).
