Where to sell?

I have a massive 46 kg brand new unpacked professional BBQ for sale worth over a grand. Do you know where is the best place to sell it? Ebay - not really as the catering management team would probably buy it in store or online?
Do you know any places where is worth listing it?
Information - never enough, questions - always too many, decisions - not always the best

I don't think ebay would be a good place for this, have you considered an ad in the trade press?

Wherever you do decide to sell it then could you put off the sale til next spring? You'll more than likely get more for it as it's out of season now but spring is when goods of that nature come into season...

Exchange and Mart, or The Grocer are probably more targetted than eBay would be.

Also, try asking your local barman if they have any trade magazines - it sounds like the type of kit that many pubs would have as well.

The reason I am so reluctant to suggest ebay is the old problem of an item that will probably need to be collected..and the paypal issue.

if selling in ebay catering equip section, and collection is required then paypal doesnt enter into it.
you should never accept paypal if the item is being collected. as the paypal protection rules for sellers do not apply.

    use cash on collection only.
    Get some gorm.
