Each memory slot can hold SDRAM, PC133 with a maximum of 256MB per slot.*
*Not to exceed manufacturer supported memory.
Was thinking of getting 2 x 235Mb, hopefully this will give it the kick it needs to use the wireless adaptor0 -
It should definately cope with the hardware install with 512Mb RAM. You may well run into other problems with Win ME along the way, however, as it's hardly supported at all these days!Russia is HERE0

agree with the last post - i'm looking into broadband for the mother-in-law who is running a pc on windows 98, and hardly any broadband services support it, it seems! think its usually the wireless modems that are the compatibility problem though.
if anyone knows of a broaband ISP supporting windows 98, please let me know...0 -

I have a spare Win98 pc that will run fine with Virgin Cable connected via ethernet.
Just because a supplier says it doesn't support Win98, it doesn't mean it won't work, it's their way of saying "If you get problems, don't call us"
It should work with any BB.Move along, nothing to see.0
