hi all, im just seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. i have got myself in a situation where im having money to spend during the month. ive had too not pay freemans and littlewoods much money. i owe freemans £700 and am in arrears of payment but there fine with it. littlewoods i owe £4000 and am in £1500 arrears. im having letters sent about possiblity of them passing the debt over (just recieved one). from next month i will be able to pay them around £200 a month and then after christmas the payments can go up. with previous phone calls to littlewoods i refuse to speak to them as they are blunt, rude and are pushing me to take an interest agreement to lower my payments but double what i owe. any one had experience with littlewoods?? this is my last problem and i want to feel confident in what to do as its putting presure on my homelife.
thanks
thanks

Hi
What is the APR on these debts?
Have either of them added charges for late payment etc to you account?
When did you take out the accounts? If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing0 -
apr was around 30-40% . ive had the accounts for about 3 years and every month they are charging me £12 at least as i have either not made a payment or not the full miniumn payment. littlewoods payment is £1400 because of the arrears0

OK
At that sort of rate if you pay the minimum, they debt will actually go up.
One thing you could do to start the debt going back down is relcaim the charges See here

thats why i refused and will carry on paying what i actually owe. if i try and reclaim the charges which to be honest is only around £100 as up until the start of the year i was paying payments in full, this will probably annoy littlewoods and for them to come down hard on me?0
