I have just open my barclaycard statement and found a transaction for £38.50 from a company called leisuretime ltd horsham, having had no dealings with them I contacted customer services who are sending me out a fraudulent claim form
I have since read this forum and can clearly state I have never applied for any offers sent to me,I never do,they go straight into the bin,I dont accept telephone offers either.
So will be interesting to see what they come up with, will keep you all informed
steve
After numerous phone calls and letters, barclaycard insist the it is not a fraudulent transaction and that I take the matter up with leisuretime.
Leisuretime say they cannot find me on their system and have asked me to write to them cancelling my subscription.(still not sure how that one works when they cannot find me on their system and I never subscibed in the first place).
Barclaycard insist the money will only be refunded if leisuretime return the funds and cancel the subscription.
Awaiting the outcome but i have told them that I believe any transaction without my authorization is indeed fraudulent, and I shall be contacting the ombudsman and cancelling my barclaycard account if the matter is not resolved to my satisfaction.
Will let you know in due course but have to say barclaycard are not being very helpful in the matter0 -
Can someone writedown their (LeasureTime's) contact details to cancel the transaction?
Thanks in advance.MSE IS AN ADDICTION0 -
I have just had £31.75 taken off my mastercard by this same company.Has anybody got any contact details for them?0

Hi, I have just been scammed by Leisure time and Barclays, I had a £69.99 charge on my Barclaycard statement. I have just got off the phone with Leisure time, I tried to get the money back, They started getting snotty with me, What makes this worse is that the transaction is on automatic renewal, I said take it off, They said NO in a raised voice, They will send a reminder next year that I will have to remember to cancel, These people are sending you junk mail and charging you for it. I did not sign any thing. How can these people get away with doing this. So to sum this up. No refund and watch out for next year, If you change your Barclaycard and number the Leisure time transaction will go with the new card, That's what Barclaycard told me, Has any one changed card company, Dose this get rid of the Leisure time thing..0

Just to update on this. I phoned Barclaycard and told them my card was lost, (it wasn't), They cancelled the card, I told them not to send me a new one, And told them to close my account, The person on the phone couldn't do that I had to go through to another dept, But they were not available, My account still stayed open, I called again asking them to close my account, I had to wait for them to call me..
I had a phone call on the 27th Jan, Barclays credited my account for £50.00 If I would not close my account, I agreed just to get the money, But I'm not using Barclaycard any more, I have started with American express.. But I was pleased to get £50.00 from Barclaycard,

 We have just received a letter from this company, stating that my wife signed an agreement for whatever services they are selling.
She DEFINITELY did not sign this, they must have somehow got this signature from FREEMANS.
The so called agreement is not dated, but states if she does not cancel within 30 days, she has to pay.
This is obviously rubbish, 30 days from when.
Also she was supposed to get 2 free cinema tickets and a welcome pack, neither of which arrived, not that we wanted them anyway.
Freemans have to be involved in this, the signature could only have come from them.
We are in touch with both companies, and also Trading Standards!!.
WATCH THIS SPACE!!.
