problem with potterton suprema 50l

in In my home (includes DIY) MoneySaving
keep having to reset the overheat lockout button, it dosent allways rset straight away even if the boiler is cold & sometimes wont have to reset it for a day or 2...friend of mine has same boiler with the same problem....
has anyone else got this problem,,,im not convinced its the overheat stat,,,for some reason i suspect faulty pcb

    Had the same problem and ended up replacing the PCB. Subsequently heard on BBC it is frequent problem with Suprimas and so wrote a letter to Potterton and received £100 as good will payment. This was 2 years ago.

    ive had my pcb replaced twice just out of 12 month warranty which i find ridiculous the plumber on my estate has changed 6 in our close alone
    if you think peoples advice is helpfull please take the time to clicking the thank you button it gives great satisfaction
