Help me please!!!!! Staying debt free is AS HARD ASWhen you were born, you were crying and everyone around was smiling. Live your life so at the end, you're the one who is smiling and everyone around you is crying! :rotfl:0

Help me please!!!!! Staying debt free is as hard as GETTING debt free. I know it sounds daft, but having extra income every month it is really hard not to be swayed into getting a loan to buy the new blinds I want, that new garage door, the brick wall out the front which will stop all those lovely little children using my drive as a ramp  , etc, etc. To date (11 days in total) I have managed to stay strong and remember the feeling of not being in debt and owing nothing to nobody - but boy, is it hard? When you were born, you were crying and everyone around was smiling. Live your life so at the end, you're the one who is smiling and everyone around you is crying! :rotfl:0

Congratulations on becomming debt free. I'm sure there's a challenge (I want it now) where people are signed up to saving for the things they want; might that be something to join to keep you debt free but focussed on the future?
