I bought a GPS from these guys just under 11 months ago, and it was perfect up until last week when the data coming from it turned into giberish which my Sat Nav and various software couldn't understand.
I tried various things but came to the conclusion that the device had gone faulty. I contacted mobile fun via the web to see what their policy was, and they apologised but as I was out of the 28 days return period I couldn't get an automatic refund, but I should return the product to them to be assessed, with a repair or replacement as required.
Somewhat sceptically I sent it off recorded delivery (just the GPS and a comms lead in a jiffy bag - no box or anything lile that) and a couple of days later got an e-mail asking me to return the rest of the item for a product replacement, I mailed them back letting them know that as it was 11 months old I didn't have the box, disk or manual anymore.
Yesterday morning I had a phone call from a really nice bloke, telling me the lack of manuals / disks wasn't a problem. He asked me to enter a part code on the web site to check if that would be a suitable alternative as they didn't stock the original anymore - it was so about 30 minutes later I had an e-mail telling me it had been dispatched. It's due to arrive this morning!!

The other day, someone on another thread suggested this:
Is it the same company?
I was dubious about using them (I always am anyway) if it's the same company, I'll go ahead and place my order.Click here for Martins (MSE) advice on who to contact with Debt Issues - YOU HAVE NO REASON TO USE A FEE PAYING DEBT MANAGEMENT COMPANY- THEY CANNOT DO ANYMORE FOR YOU THAN THOSE LISTED IN MY LINK ABOVE.
All information given by myself is offered informally and without prejudice - if in doubt seek help from a qualified and insured professional0 -
That's them, I've also just checked my card statement and they appear to have given me £3 to cover the cost of me posting the item back them, postage only cost me £2.17 so I wasn't really that bothered as I had a brand new item :beer:0

I have used them for a few things. Most recently a charger for my Sony Ericsson P1i, trying to get a refund but no replies to my emails. Product does not work.Kavanne
