£60 tax rebate question
Comments
-
August was £143.60
Setember was £161.00
So def no £60 rebate there, or i'm just rubbish at simple maths, but i don't think i am.0 -
I'm a bit baffled too now... 161 is the 'correct tax' if you were still on a 543L tax code
have your co-workers benefitted from the new allowance do you know?0 -
I was off work today when i got paid, my payslip arrived at home and i noticed it didn't include the £60. I think the only way of working this out is contacting payroll, knowing them they have mucked it up. Its just weird my tax code has changed yet no rebate.
So my tax is still working out on the 543L code? i'm so sorry, i'm useless with tax issues lol. Thanks for your help!0 -
The update process in Sage Payroll had two stages. Only one part of it was updating the tax code. If your payroll dept was using Sage Payroll & didn't complete both steps, then your tax code would be printed correctly but not worked out correctly with the new parameters.0

So its def worth checking with payroll to see if this happened?
Thank you for all your help!!!!0 -
Hi, the same has happened to me and my work colleagues none of us has received the extra £60 so i told my boss i was under the impression we should all be £60 better off this week, he reckons he did what the tax office told him to anyway he said he will look into it.0
