Safe to delete .msi files in installer folder?

Hi everyone,

My PC lately was runnig out of memory fast - after using Treesize I realised the .msi files in the Installer folder were taking up 24GB!!! My Hard drive is only 74GB which means this folder alone was eating up nearly 35% of all total memory!

These files are all connected with My Office 2003 pack - would it be useful to delete a couple of GB's worth to ease the pressure on my hard drive for space?

    can anyone help?
  • an msi file is the actual installation file. If you delete that and do not have it backed up anywhere, and you have a problem where the program asks for the location of where your office11.msi file is for instance, you will be stuffed.
Basically, when you install something and click on the setup.exe file, it launches the msi file.

Are you sure there and ALL connected with office2003? Office2003 comes on one CD!
