Help Regarding Benefits

Hi
Was wondering if someone could give me a better estimate of what me and my girlfriend will be entitled to later in the year. I tried using that Entitledto website but it said we would only receive £10 a week and I wern't sure if this was correct or not.
I work 12 hours a week and earn £300 a month, I'm also a full time student. My girlfriend works 16 hours a week and earns £450 a month. She is just gone 7 months pregnant and the baby is due in December.
I get some help from my family for our rent, would this need to be declared? Council tax is £75 a month.
How much would we be entitled to including child benefit please?

Child benefit is £18 pw.
You should also get child tax credit of approx £60 pw.
Your girlfriend may be entitled to statutory maternity pay (£117 pw)or maternity allowance (£depends on earnings over a period)both maternity payments will depend on other facts such as how long she has been working for.
If she returns to work, or you increase your hours to 16 you will be able to apply for working tax credits - extremely approx. £100pw
And dependent on all the above payments you may be entitled to housing benefit (rent) and council tax or income support
Get down to your local CAB with details of girlfriends working dates and income for the last year or more. They will provide you with a benefit calculation showing entitlment and amounts0 -
Hello Mwesty,
You will be eligible for £18.80 p/wk in child benefit payments. You will also be eligible for Child Tax Credits (£50 to £60 p/wk approx) & Working Tax Credits (amount dependant on previous year and current year income). Above post is incorrect with regards to working tax credits. Once your child is born only one of you needs to be working 16hrs or more p/wk, not both. If and when your partner goes on maternity leave she will be eligible for smp or ma (dependant on circs) and will still be classed as employed for working tax credits purposes whilst on paid smp/ma. Also, becuase you will get more than the family element of child tax credits you will be eligible for a sure start maternity grant of £500 once child born. Finally, if your current year income for both you and your partner combined is less than £15,050 you will be eligible for an Exemption Certificate for health costs.

Ps, if you call Tax Credits helpline they can provide you with an entitlement calculator to tell you how much you will get in Tax Credits (you will need to have previous year and current year income to hand).0
