Is this camera any good? Still waiting for mine and the ES website is not showing my order yet, so don't even know if it is going to arrive.
UPDATE: Tell a lie! The website now shows it has been dispatched. Wahoo - £24.99 and 20 week terms, plus a 3 piece bag set.

well i just had my despatch email, they are billing me £49.28! !!!!!! how did they come up with that, i managed to get it when it was at £59.99 then used a code for £25 off for referring a friend. probably cos im a customer already, they do new customers first huh!
angry email already sent.


Just realised on the camera i ordered is SX7366, on the dispatched email they are sending me ST7142 which is the 3.1mp! !!!!!!.

they are so annoying me, i ordered a 3ft fish tank, it went mising in the post, now a kingsize bed has gone missing in the post! grrr...

I ordered mine on the 28/11. First I made order as a new customer, as I didn't receive an email, I tried again. This time I received an email, but with no info.

Today I have received an email advising me that 2 items have been dispatched and my cc card charged, but no mention of the camera, at all.

They haven't given me an account no. yet, so I can't check my account. When I made the order, a screen appeared and confirmed that all goods would be delivered by the 1st December.

Its not looking good!!

I ordered on 28/11 as well. I've not received any confirmation either, only the screen print I took at the time which states a delivery date of 1st Dec.
Not having revceived anything today, I called Customer Services. They were very pleasant and assured me that the goods would be delivered soon!

I ordered mine on the 28th and so far nothing! I rang CS and was informed item was out of stock and wait was 2-4 weeks.

I just rang them tonight after getting fed up waiting - the 5.1mp camera is currently in stock and priced now at £79.99, after some persuasion, I got it down to the original price of £39.99 (advertised on the 26th Nov on their website as the 3.1mp was unavailable), then the great girl on the end of the phone also allowed me to use the £20 discount code.

She first said she couldn't do it as it would mean applying two discounts, but then I gave her my card number and she said, ok, I've put that through at £19.99 for you!!

If anyone else calls, you will need:

1. The item catalogue number: SX7366
2. Explain that it was advertised on the 26th for £39.99 as the 3.1mp was unavailable
3. Your discount code (search the forums for the £20 one)
4. Your card to pay!!

It's been taking from my bank account already so fingers crossed it'll turn up!

I got the courage to phone empire up, i say i ordered a camera on 26th for 59.99 with a £25 code off, why are you sending me out the cheaper version at 49.28, she says im confused you have two cameras on your account you ordered, one at £59.99 and one at £79.99 but with discount £65.80.
I said it should be £34.99 with discount and that the dearer one was the one i'd ordered but it was £59.99 on your site at time of ordering and in my confirmation. She said we've never sold a camera at that price, i offer to email the confirmation, she declines, instead she wants me to print it off and send it, in the meanwhile to refuse or return the cheaper camera and then they might sort out the other one.

Oh and our bed is still missing in the post haha

I managed to order this too, but when checking my accont its coming up with catalogue number SG7142 which doesn't seem to correspond with anyone elses!
Should I query this?

Just checked my account and it says SG7142 at £44.99, reduced to £24.99 with the voucher, but my confirmation email is definitely SX7366. Dispatched but not delivered yet though, so I fully expect to have an argument once it arrives.
