I ordered two SX7366s and received two of the SR6827s I sent several emails and the only one received was a sorry the SX7366 is out of stock - no personal reply. I phoned yesterday morning and the customer service guy although nice could not help in any way and advised me to send the cameras back with a letter explaining and copies of my order confirmation. I am now waiting for a courier to collect them. The customer service guy said it was highly unlikely I would get the Sx7866 as they are out of stock and would probably only get a measly refund.

I am hoping otherwise so will keep you posted.

I got my second one of these today - the SR6827 again. Not a bad camera for £25 I reckon, but I've already got my boys some of the Samsung ones from Boots for £56. If I can't pass this on to anyone at work for £25 it's going back. It certainly isn't worth anything more than about £45.
I can't be bothered to argue with Empire over this one.

Already knew from their email that they were sending a SR6827.

Courier delivered it today but just didn't accept it from them - easier than having to write an explanation and the hassle of sending it back.

Been on the blower to them again this morning, after they refused to honour a deal they had already taken card payment for!!

They tried to bill me again at £59.99 for the 5.1mp (SX7366) so I decided to have a general moan at them again.

Yeah, I've just received the SR6827. It's going back, and I really can't bothered arguing anything out with them. I guess they don't care about loosing customers if this is how they treat them

The day after my Concord 3040 arrived a work colleague happened to mention that she wanted a digital camera for taking photos to email to relatives. I told her about the one I had just received and that she could have it for the £25 I paid for it. She was delighted!

i got the 5mp one for 24.99 its not the best, the flash over exposes on everyshot.
but its ok for the car for a quick snap.

I seem to have the original concord 3.1. Am very confused as my despatch e-mail said I was getting the Halina camera plus free binoculars, which was also confirmed by customer services! and the free gift was supposed to be a dinner service but now its the original bags!
Anyway Im not arguing with Empire over this because their telephone staff although very polite and helpful seem a bit useless. It is a present for my DD who is nearly 10, it is good enough for her until she is old enough to want something better and its less than I wanted to spend so Im quite happy. The free gift will go in the car boot box I would imagine.
