Concord 5.1MP digicam - £29.99 Misprice!! [CLOSED]

Just had an email to say that my camera is ready for dispatch, problem is, the catalogue number has changed again (SR6827)...and they're charging me an extra £10!
Can't find any details of camera on website..if I do a search it comes up as in stock and £64.99. if i go back to the Concord one which is out of stock, I get referred to SR6827 priced at £49.99. They are trying to charge me £34.99. Think all these problems are because I decided to open an account rather than pay by credit card. Another thing I've noticed is the descriptions of the cameras seem to have changed. The only thing I know to look for is the pixels, 3.1mp v 5mp in this case - can't find this any more.
Can anyone help with advice - will it still be a decent buy or should I just refuse to accept delivery?0 -
I also have just had an email from empire with the news that my order was ready for dispatch. I'm getting the 3.1mp and not the 5.1mp one. Ah well, a digital camera for £25 is OK by me.0

It's not for me - I ordered and have been charged for something quite different, and I shall expect them to honour that contract.Ah well, a digital camera for £25 is OK by me.
Loss of bargain - company accepts my order, charges me the agreed price then dispatches something different I shall insist they send me what we both agreed they would. If they don't I have the right to demand that they do, if they still won't I have the right to buy the same item elsewhere then take them to small claims court to force them to pay me what it has cost to buy it elsewhere. You don't get medals for sitting in the trenches.0 -

Have you actually paid for your item or did you open an account with them? ie. have they taken money from your credit or debit card for something you didn't order?
I had a terrible time on the phone with them although they were quite polite. They seemed to think all problems could be solved just by saying "send it back if it's not right."
To me that's not the point. I ordered a specific item as a Christmas gift and I don't want a substitute at a different price without being asked! I would rather just have had the order cancelled, which is what most companies do.0 -

aaaah but.....how much are they charging you? think they're making everything up as they go along0 -
If you put SX7366 in the search box the 5mp camera comes up as out of stock but mentions an alternative which if you click on turns out to be the Halina camera/binoculars (SA7365) but for £29.99!0

I ordered two - one on my account, and a separate one by credit card. They have debited my card, so payment has been exchanged and the item dispatched, so contract is bound as far as I am concerned. You don't get medals for sitting in the trenches.0

Well done you!
I'm in two minds now whether to go for this myself and send the other one back0
