Can anyone confirm or tell me how to go about.
I have just gone on BT broadband, hub is in my spare room with pc.
BT Vision should be on mid Oct, I have read that i need to connect the Vision box by ethernet to the hub, but think it can be done with powerline adapters. ie: hub-ethernet-adapter and V-Box-ethernet-adapter.
whicch is the best/ easiest way to go about this. at the moment im 8 months in to recovering from a serious broken leg, hip and ankle so am not mobile enough to go into the loft, if i use these adapters will i get a decent signal or is hardwired better. Thanks

the powerline adapters just plug into a mains socket in each room , hub end into one via cable, other room in mians socket , cable out to Vision box. As long as you have an aerial socket in the vision room then it works straight awayEx forum ambassador

I took delivery of BT Vision last Saturday.
Mixed results, unfortunately. The Vision box thing is quite impressive actually, it's quite fast & flies through the menus ... no time lag that you get with ordinary freeview or Virgin V+ boxes. I'm using the powerline adaptors & have found video on demand to be rather flakey, it might run fine for 10/15 minutes then it'll just picture freeze for a few seconds ... gets kinda annoying after a while.
Maybe just a glitch. Still early days.
But it was straightforward to set up. Most annoying thing about it was footering around the back of the tv & fiddling about with scart leads etc etc (and the dust behind the tv ... what a disgrace !)0
