Boiler question - dripping water?

British Gas came a couple of days ago to replace the thermostat for our combi boiler which was good and the engineer also topped up the pressure. But since he left there has been a steady drip drip of water from the outlet pipe (if that's what it's called) outside the flat. Is this normal or should I be calling BG to come back? There's a fair sized pool of water building up on the patio.

Could be the safety relief valve dribbling due to a bit of dirt under the seat. Locate the valve by following the pipe from the outside into the boiler. Try lifting the lever on the top of the valve quickly two or three times for short bursts of about one second only. This will blow any debris away and leave a clean seat. If this fails call BG back.0

More likely the filling loop hasn't turned off properly and the boiler is overpressurised. Call BG back.Mine needed a new fan so that must be whats wrong with yours:D0

Thanks for the comments. I called BG back and it seems to have been a small leak in the valve. He replaced it with a new one and that seems to have done the trick.0
