Funny thing is, I wanted some Kopparberg today, and decided it was too dear. All the other "pear cider" was expensive too, so I walked round the aisle, to the cheapo wine section and picked up a bottle of Belgian Perry for less than half the price of the fashionable pear cider. Mad.

you tried somthing new and did not like it! get over it! how limited would your tastes be if you never tried somthing you have not had before.

ps dont like copenberge - i hate pear drops and never associated them with pears untill i tried copenberg - on a personal recomendation of someone who hated bulmers.

I work in a supermarket and a lady came in and asked for APPLE CIDER...she was adamant it was an Apple cider she had seen advertised, and was really nasty bout it. so i gave her a kopperberg pear just to get her back! Hope she liked it!

this is what i hate about retail, we get customers asking for items which dont exist and when we tell them we dont stock it they throw a tantrum,

Or people trying to return stuff that we don't sell. We had one guy come in with a return, and it looked similar to one we sold, so I went "yeah, OK, maybe it's in different packaging" (not my section, so it could have happened), scanned it, unknown barcode. Called over the coworker that deals with that section and it wasn't one we sold, yet he was adamant that he bought it here.

There was another one yesterday who asked me for wheelie bin numbers, and I went "we don't stock them", and she looked confused for a moment and then came out with "but this is the pound shop isn't it?"
