Been on hold for 65mins to sky!!

If there was any other way of getting 'Sky 1' I would cancel my subscription after they deliberately tried to diddle me out of £50 a few years back (to fix my digibox after THEY updated the software with a very buggy version but insisted that I had to pay for a service call to get it fixed). According to am aquiaintance who works in the software development side they KNEW it was their software that was the problem but yet they still took/stole £50 form many people by demanding that they pay for a service call .. strangely enough the night before the engineer came out their box would revert back to the old version of the software).

How can I get 'Sky 1' without getting 'Sky'

You have to be really tenacious to downgrade. I can`t wait to cancel my sub at the end of the 12 months. I have 5 months to go and I have my letter ready and I`ll send it recorded and I`ll cancel my direct debit asap

Freeview is excellent especially since I now have a TV with integrated freeview and a 40gb hdd. I wish I had seen it before I enrolled to get sky+
