Have big issue with this on my Dell laptop Vista OS and the solution below to the to the problem number does not work can anyone help or advise?

Q111002: Error -2147467262 Problem
When checking for updates, error -2147467262 occurs, and no applications are displayed in the Update Settings tab in the Update Manager.

More Information
This error occurs because files were not properly installed during the installation process.
Fix
To fix this error, you will need to re-register three files.

1. On the Taskbar, select Start > Run.
2. In the Open field, type regsvr32 "C:\Windows\Downloaded Program Files\ ISUSWEB.DLL".
3. Press Enter.
4. If the file registers successfully, the following message appears on the screen:
5. On the Taskbar, select Start > Run.
6. In the Open field, type "C:\Program Files\Common Files\InstallShield\UpdateService\ISDM.EXE" /regserver.
7. Press Enter. Note: A message box will not be displayed.
8. On the Taskbar, select Start > Run.
9. In the Open field, type "C:\Program Files\Common Files\InstallShield\UpdateService\AGENT.EXE" /regserver.
10. Press Enter.

All three necessary files should now be registered, allowing you to check for updates.
