Does anyone on here work for them as an agent or have any family that work for the organisation?
I know its a strange question but as I have just been made redundant Im looking at the possibility of joining them and was wondering if any one had any info they would care to share.
Thanks in advance.

Martin’s asked me to post this in these circumstances: I’ve asked Board Guides to move threads if they’ll receive a better response elsewhere(please see this rule) so this post/thread has been moved to another board, where it should get more replies. If you have any questions about this policy please email !!!!!!.0

We have policies with them. If you get a job with them and can do anything to improve their customer service I will applaud you. At the moment it is dire.
I can only tell you what our agents used to say about working for them. Actually, I can't because you are not allowed to put those words on the forum. Suffice it to say they were not happy and seemed to live in constant anticipation of losing their jobs through cuts or reorganisation.0 -
As an IFA, I find them an awkward company to deal with. I never use them for new business but it's easy to justify moving business away from them. However, their admin is awful. A number of times this year I have had to clarify information and ask for corrections in their projections, which were clearly wrong.
So, their products are poor and their service is abysmal. As a staff member, I would think you would get some good perks though. I believe they still operate a final salary pension.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. They are not financial advice and you should not treat them as such. If you feel an area discussed may be relevant to you, then please seek advice from an Independent Financial Adviser local to you.0
