Has anyone else experienced problems accessing yahoo emails ? The last 3 days I have experience problems accesssing my account.
I can't get into it at all now, I type in my user ID and then password and it keeps taking me back to the log in page again and I am 100% sure the password and user ID are correct. Checked things like CAP locks, number lock etc.
Just wondering if this a sign that my account is locked or something. Who would I need to contact if my account is locked.
Thanks in advance for any grateful advise.

There is another post on the forum from someone who had the same problem - I posted there to say my Mum had the same problem and hers was down to a problem with an email that was in her account that was freezing it.

I think she could still receive emails (or was it send them) but only via Outlook/Outlook Express she couldn't sign into Yahoo directly.
They did sort it in the end but BT (in her case) had to do it.0 -
Thanks. I'll keep trying, I've now got pass the login page for the first time today. But can't access the mail still.
Got a message coming up saying:
"There was a problem accessing your account. Please try again in a moment. code 2"
This message appeared yesterday as well. On one occassion yesterday I did get pass this error message and could see my received messages in a list format but it wouldn't allow me to read any of them. I just put it down to a temp glitch with yahoo so thought I would try again today. I hope this passes soon.0 -
this has been happening to me too and the autoloading of addresses has disappeared from 1 of my accounts. I got through the block once by refreshing the browser - have you tried that? Also I've noticed the annoying type in hologram thing (which is often illegible) has been appearing more often.0

Hello everybody,
As "fifth ave" mentioned above I have some serious login problem with my Y! account starting from 27 sept 2008. I've tried to login using my ID and pass being sure 100% that they are correct, but the same yahoo login page with error displaying invalid user/pass kept appearing. The odd thing about that is that if I tried a couple of hours after, the login process was successful; when I logged out and tried to login the same login problem kept comming. When the login was successful I've tried to change my password, but the new password wasn't accepted - very strange error appeared.
Of course I wrote to yahoo asking password reset, and I was able to do that, but I think it was a big mistake. After I've used the new password, a page asking to choose new password and my e-mail type appeared (free...). I've completed these steps and when I've logged out and reloginned again an error 1 message blocked my access to my mail-box. The Y! messenger seems ok, though. I contacted the yahoo support team and they fixed the error 1 message, but when I've checked the mail I've found out that all my sent/inbox/spam/etc... mail folders were deleted. I've accepted the situation, but the next day when I've accessed the mail, an error 2 is completely blocking my access again. This is happening since thursday, and after 6 mails to Y! support nothing was fixed and I'm starting to loose my hope on this mail account, though the messenger ID works ok.
I'm pretty sure all this saga started from a Y! internal error...
Well, for now I'm still hopping....0
