7.1 is the reason I like the MSE Brand. Your open and honest about how information posted is used, how refreshing ;D

9.2.5 Mmmmm, this is gonna "nip in the bud" the fun that is to be had in the MSA. No more impersonating people!! hehehehe 8)
I take it if / when the conditions change we will be informed, it implies changes can occur & continued use means we accept the changes. Too be honest I don't regularly read terms and conditions unless I need to refer to them, so a subtle reminder that they have changed would be appropriate.

Absolutely if you see the bottom of every page it details the last update - and they will always be in the email

This happened as we have new specialised lawyers. As the site has got bigger i have to make everythign properly legit - i hope these tc and cs wont change for a good long time (it's bloody expensive!)

So right at the bottom of the screen in brackets it says (Last updated: 23.11.2004).......

So this represents the T&C's and Privacy Policy....... That's cool!! ;)

Read that Martin, sounds good & honest and what I expected from your very good high standards. :)

Hope the site continues on an even smoother note. ;):D

In section 9 can you add a new clause which would give you the oportunity to take action against members whom breach the terms and conditions of external websites.

9.2.11 Fail to comply with the terms and conditions set out by external websites. Resulting in personal or finacial gain. "For Example - Applying for more than the stated number of free gifts when the terms clearly state (1 per person, 1 per household etc)."

An inclusion such as this would allow you to warn or ban members from using the message boards. With it's inclusion other members would also have a different method of complaint rather than the occassional slanging matches that occur.

Bump - May'be other MSE'ers could offer their views regarding a possible new rule of this nature.

    Good idea Tony :)

I wonder how many people actually read the T&C's though :-/

I'm sure some people are advised to read the term's & condition's by the moderators, this inclusion would then make it clear to them what is & is not tolerated.

To be honest I am one of those whom didn't read term's & condition's until I had received a warning, but now the rules are clear to me. I alway's read information on websites when it is appropriate to do so.

Yikes, I have breached two of them!!! :o

I have posted links on other sites to the chat forum boards, mainly when other people have asked about certain topics.

Does this mean I'm going to get struck off? :'(:'(:'(

I just pop in now and then.... :)
