Cash Isa's ? also Tax on savings

Cash Isa ?-
i am thinking of transferring my isa to another provider, can i move this year's saving's or just previous years?


Tax on Savings ? -
my other half is in the higher Tax bracket, i do not go out to work, does this mean i would not have to pay tax on my savings where as my other half will?

    You can transfer the full amount.

    So you are a non tax payer? If this is the case you wont pay any tax on the savings interest, whereas your partner will pay 40%. You will need to fill in an R85 form at the bank to make sure the interest is paid gross.
