help,
i want to create a montage of different photos onto a single document (A4 size)
so that it can then be printed and framed
any ideas what software i can use to do it....
ive looked at ms-word, but that will only allow regimented block like pattern

Yes, I think so. It's free to make an account though, and quite easy to upload.
I use Flickr myself, and liked it so much I even paid for a Pro account.0 -
Microsoft Research have just released a program called Autocollage.

It's easy to use and creates nice collages of multiple photos.
30-day trial is free (there will be a watermark) or it's £19.90 to buy (no watermark). That gets you five licenses, so it's essentially just under £4 per computer you install it on.The pen is mightier than the sword, and considerably easier to write with.

Yes Picasa is free, but for quality there's no comparison.
