I can make calls by bypassing the Sky line and going back to BT.
Sky and BT can find no line faults.
Getting 'the number you have dialled is not recognised' whatever number I try.
Intermittently last night - when I removed the Mionet anywhere software and switched off laptop - was able to make outgoing calls. Switched laptop back on - still ok. Went onto internet home page - can't call out again.
I thought that the Mionet anywhere was holding open the line - even when unplugged from the socket - so that by removing that software - it is just being used as a hard disk - calling would be ok.
Sky Broadband say that I have a faulty micro filter and to get a new one - but I've got 2 - surely they haven't both gone faulty?
Incoming calls are very faint also.
Any ideas - or do I need a Sky engineer? a PC engineer? BT engineer?
