That's brilliant news - that must be a relief for you all! :T

It's nice to hear when it goes right for people. Sometimes I think these boards can give the impression DLA doesn't really exist (or is virtually impossible to claim) as we hear mostly about the rejected claims!

My DS was awarded in July, and whilst the money doesn't remove the problem it was awarded for it really does help with the extra expense. I have been able to pay for SALT which is unavailable locally due to cuts and have also been able to treat him and buy extra books and learning aids, all of which have started to help with his behaviour and keeping up at school. Such a relief!
Tomorrow is always fresh, with no mistakes in it!
  • Always nice to hear good news for a change
