.dvd format - how do i burn it

hi there

i paid a company to provide me with the software to change my dvd to region free. they have sent me a .dvd file however i can't burn it onto a dvd. i have the instructions they provided, can someone help me get this onto dvd.


1) Unzip the folders and files to the hard drive in exactly the same order.
2) Burn the folder "RMT000" (including sub files and/or folders) to a blank CDR
3) Make sure you set; 'close' disc and session
4) Make sure you burn the disc in ISO mode (not joliet)


REMEMBER ONLY HAVE THE ONE FOLDER ON THE DISK NOT THE README FILE. ALSO MAKE SURE THE CD IS CLOSED AND NOT ON MULTISESSION!!! Any quries about burning must be referred to your favoured burning software instructons or the software manufacturer.

Insert the disc in the player and follow the screen instructions
A blue screen may appear asking you to enter region code 0-6 ENTER 0 for multiregional
then press Pause to exit.
Power down and then power up and you have a region free player.

Use something like nero, Open a new CD-DATA session, making sure multisession isn't selected, Drag the files across in nero, and hit the burn button. Thats basically what you have to do.

do i need to change the file extentions or anything i have nero 7 ultra edition but haven't really used it.

any advise would be great.

hi tried again using roxio and when i place the disc in the machine i get no valid disc.

Sorry annoying. if someone has time can i get a dummies guide to buring this information.

No don't change the file extentions as thats the file extention understood by your player.

Note: Have not received complete file according to your description.
