Baxi boiler

I'm with a housing association and have got a baxi boiler but i don't know the cheapest way to use the hot water ,one engineer told me leave it on permantly (that way it won't have to heat up from scratch) another said hour in the morning hour at night because the other way its on to much. Theres only me live here its a one bed flat

Actually, make that definitely.
Heat the hot water up about an hour before you need it, experiment with 45 mins or even less if you're not taking a bath. You can also turn down the water temperature on the tank thermostat (no lower than 60 degrees though to ensure legionella are killed) so you don't waste energy making water hotter than you need at the tap. Make sure the tank is well insulated and you've done your best.Reading this signature is a waste of time0 -
