Hotels near BBC centre

I am hoping to get down to London for a show at the BBC centre and was wanting ideally to stay within the vicinity of Television Centre. I have no idea about the location of hotels in the area, so any pointers to hotels would be gratefully received.

The nearest I know of is a new Travel Inn here in North Acton, just by the Tube Station. From North Acton station you can get the Central Line, two stops (5 minutes) to White City, come out of the station and Television Centre is across the road slightly to the left.

I don't know about the hotel prices though, but it is very convenient. Other than that, there are plenty of b&b's in the Shepherds Bush area, but I personally would not go near them.
