I've been trying for a few days now to upgrade my old Sky digi box to Sky plus. Sky are offering a reduction in the price if you process it online. But I'm beginning to think Sky are 'at it' as it won't go through online. Before you can process your order a message appears informing you there is a problem and gives you a telephone number to call. I've called the number several times only to be told that they cannot give me the reduced price over the telephone and that I have to do it online - but of course the website is 'down'!. I think Sky is hoping that people will just get fed up trying to get the cheaper price online and do it over the phone for the full amount. Crafty eh? Obviously some lucky people out there have been lucky enough to have there online order processed but I don't think it for the masses. Anybody have similar problems?

Yea Deano, but that is my point. They are saying the system is down but isn't it a bit curious that after days and days of this they still have not got the system sorted. I also read online by someone with the same problem as myself that the website works just fine if your ordering the full price Sky HD? Glad its not just me, have been trying to upgrade to Sky + also to take Broadband as having nothing but trouble with AOL :mad: Have tried to order online for the last few days but just get error message and a list of phone numbers to chose from. Phoned up and after listening to a load of stuff I didnt want to listen to pressing every button on the phone to get to the right department. Finally got to speak to Jason who informed me as being I was ordering over the phone would cost £50/60 more :mad: After explaining about trying to order online was told web site was playing up. So thought I would email them got a nice reply saying yes could get broadband in my area!! the answer was nothing to do with what I had asked in the email, have emailed again and waiting with baited breath for a reply :rotfl:0
