Can anyone advise on car insurance for a learner drive? We've been quoted at rate of £1000 on my car, a 1.9 saab, for my 18 year old son... there must be better rates and options!
Thank you

Hi - try Liverpool Victoria who will still cover a teenager on a car like a SAAB strictly on the basis that he is an occasional driver and not the main user.It should be well under your rate of £1000.00.
Once he passes his test and gets his own car insurance is still very costly but investigate pass plus which gives around 30% off his first insurance premium.0
