Any help on the following question would be gratefully received!!
Have just bought my wife an mp3 player for her birthday.
She used to have an ipod shuffle, but wanted one which could receive radio.
I bought her the following mp3 player http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/0842660/c_1/1%7Ccat_10199181%7CMP3+and+MP4+players%7C10199271/Trail/searchtext>SONY+MP3.htm
She is having problems getting many FM stations.I think she can only get one or two.
Is this because its a cheap mp3 player, do more expensive ones have better signals?
Would an mp3 player with dab be better (do they exist?)?
As the headphones are used as an antenna, is there a known set of headphones which pickup singals better?
Does anyone have an mp3 player with FM radio and get good reception, which they could recommend?
Thanks again for any help/support:T

These things tend to come with preset stations and on start up it will default to these. You will have to read the instructions and have a good play with it to work out the button combinations for manually retuning the gadget.
I have a Philips mp3 gadget that looks similar and it wasn't straightforward to work out as the small screen can only show limited info.
Sony is a good brand and I doubt if the antennae headphones are the cause of your problems.
