EGG Money card

Hi

I have recently been declined for my Abbey zero card and was thinking about applying for the egg money card. But I am not sure whether my decline recently will show on my credit report - does anyone have any ideas? I have looked and cant see anything other than the search.

Also which is the Egg money card you are all referring to about BT etc. I have looked on the website and I am confused? Is it the one that gives 1% on purchases? or is it the one that gives 0% on balance transfers or are these both the same card? and how do you put a positive balance on it?

The fact that you were declined is not recorded on your credit file; only the "credit card search" will appear. The name of the lender that searched you is only visible to you and the CRA.

Re the Egg Money card...there is only one Egg Money card, the other being the Egg Card. Take another look at their website but, yes, the Egg Money card is the one paying 1% cashback.

Re loading the card, you simply ask another card provider to balance transfer a (ficticious, but don't tell 'em that) debt from Egg Money. The other card will then send cash to Egg Money which you can then withdraw.
