$50 free @ Holiday Hypermarket

Hi i have just been into Holiday Hypermarket to collect some Euros and whilst there i noticed they had a deal on the US dollar, if i were to deposit a minimum of £400 i think it was onto an American Express credit card they give you $50 dolars free, this is just like travellers cheques but on a card instead. Just wondered if anyone had use this facility before of knew of anything against this. It ends at the end of the month so need to know pretty quick. I am going to Florida in April but the $ seems to be dropping quite a bit so thought it might be worth getting one for me and one for girlfriend.
