Woolworths online - very poor!

I placed an order for a book for my son from woolworths for £2.99.
I went to pay for the item, and it told me I already had an account, so I used the details I always do, and it bought up an old address and old card details. I changed the address first and then the card details and placed the order.
I then realised that they address details had reverted back to what they had been. I emailed Woolworths as there is no helpline and I got a response that due to the DPA they cant change the details. I emailled again and asked them what I am supposed to do, and I got the same reply.
The item still says ready for dispatch, so they are obvioulsy putting a hold on it and not sending it, but they are keeping my money. I know its only £2.99, but its still my money, and the fact that I dont have the book!
What would you suggest? My request for a refund so I can place another order have fallen of deaf ears.
Thanks in advance

Seems you only asked to change the address - which I agree you should be able to do, but surely they can cancel the order. If they refuse tell them you are keeping a record of all messsages between you and that you are informing them before delivery that the delivery address is wrong despite the fact that you did change it prior to ordering. And you will request a charge back on your debit/credit card if they process this order.0 - Navigating to YOUR ACCOUNT and following the instructions below:
