Less that 1000 BP shares? New Sharedealing Service

Just for info : BP sent me a letter today offering an easy to use sharedealing service for a limited period. (Up to Thurs 6 Nov) Cost of selling is 30p per share up to maximum of £50.

If you've lost your shares (under 50 shares) they will sell them for you. If you've lost over 50 shares they will charge you extra £20?

There's also an option of donating shares to charity or you can buy shares too (£50 per purchase + stamp duty reserve)

You'd think, as they were their own shares, they would do it at a reasonable price!

It's only useful to me as I have 10 odd shares to sell. I think I couldn't find an odd certificate at the time I originally cashed them in.

They are just sitting there doing nothing so I may as well cash them in now.

It's handy if you have lost the odd certificate.
