Hi
I have a normal upright freezer in my rented house (provided by LL) and it needs defrosting every 3 weeks or so. I have it as low as possible but this doesnt make the slightest bit of difference.
Can anyone suggest why it needs defrosting so often please?
Thanks

Have you checked the doorseals on the freezer?
Could be that air's getting in from outside through a dodgy seal, and the moisture in the air's freezing when it hits the cold things inside.
Try closing the freezer door on a piece of card (cereal-box card thickness) held in the frame. If you can easily move the piece of card up and down while the door's shut, you might be wanting to get a new seal fitted......
Had the same thing with one a few years back - fitted a new seal, it was as good as new :beer:Oh come on, don't be silly.
It's the internet - it's not real!0
