Can I put oven tray on bottom of oven?

I sometimes do - but only for maybe half an hour, while there are things on the two oven shelves finishing off.
Wouldn't put something on the oven floor for four hours - I'd be worried it'd scorch....Oh come on, don't be silly.
It's the internet - it's not real!0 -
Yes, you can use the base of the oven for cooking. We often cook a tray of mixed roasted mediterranean vegetables on it for the following day's meal while using the top two trays of our electric fan oven for cooking the Sunday meat and roast potatoes.0

When I got my fan oven they said in the blurb that it should cook evenly all through the oven and there should be no difference between top and bottom - I have not found this to be the case!!
I do use the bottom but only for a while if pushed. I have no grill oven as the grill is in the top of the oven itself!
