I wonder if anyone can help me. I have just had a phonecall from a BritishGas rep as we have justswitched supply from them for the 3rd time. They have told me that they will guarantee to beat our new deal by £100.00 . They have saud that I am being offerred a 15% discount on existing prices of Gas and Electricity. I asked for the Facts and they are E& Tier1 27.52p, Tier2 10.33, Off peak 4.74p/KWH. Gas are Tier1 6.479p Tier2 3.2p.
I have asked for an Email outlining this as 'if it is that good I need it in writing' (not lost in translation !!!!)
The guy also said that this price is until mar31 2009 when I could reapply but that every price is likely to raise in July09 according to messages circulated to his sales team.
It then got me thinking after looking at your price charts that if I went for the Cheapest gas supplier and the cheapest electric supplier would it be cheaper that dual fuel discounts.
At the moment we pay D/D £57 for gas and £97 for electric per month
thanks in advance
Oh yes and are E10 unrestricted prices available anywhere
