Shed close to house?

Any ideas about this?
I have a wooden shed, about 2.5m x 2.5m in my garden, which is rotting, so the landlord wants to replace it. It's just over 1m from the house and 20cm or so from the fence to the neighbouring garden.
Are there any issues with rebuilding it in the same location, I read somewhere about combustible sheds not being allowed to close to the house?

My neighbour opposite had his shed built close to his house.Don't know the reason why but it caught fire.It did'nt take long before his house caught alight too.It was realy burning by the time the fire services got there and he was very lucky as he was in bed at the time.I would never build a shed too near a house. It's amazing how far wind can fan the flames. His shed was about 5-6 ft from the house.0

You can put a shed anywhere you like, even leaning against the house. A shed isn't particularly likely to catch fire - most sheds don't have electrics or open flames in them which are the things most likely to start a fire. I don't think there are any known cases of two garden spades chafing together and setting off sparks!0
