  • It could -still- be full of sugar, but I think it's around 130cal... we looked it up after a friend realised her milkshake was around a third of her daily calories!
  • I'm not entirely convinced by the MSE of the meat stall up smelly alley, although for the most part the grocers seems good.

Do you go somewhere else for meat? :)

I'd mention costco (in Reading, on Green Park (down by J11 of the M4)), but not everyone can get membership!

    Remember the MoneySaving mantras!

    IF YOU'RE SKINT......
Do I need it? Can I afford it? Can I find it cheaper anywhere else?

    IF YOU'RE NOT SKINT......
Will I use it? Is it worth it? Can I find it cheaper anywhere else?
  • Another beauty tip...

TVU have a student salon which is open quite late on weekdays and offer various hair and beauty services. I had a haircut for £5 which was well worth it!

There is a big Costo in Reading (near Junction 11 of the M4). If you can sign yourself up as an individual member you can buy in bulk and save money but goods have to be paid for on a debit card, not a credit card. If you live alone, you'll need to have a freezer as most things are sold in big packs, but you can always buy there with a friend if you like the same things and split the proceeds between you.
