Best savings option?

Hi all
Myself and partner are looking to save around £300 per month and was wondering what would be the best option. We do not have an inital sum to invest (other than the first months savings obviously)
Would an ISA be the best option? We do not want to have access to the money at least for the first year, possibly 2 years
Many thanks in advance

The First Direct Regular Saver ISA may be a good option
http://www.firstdirect.com/savings/regular-saver-isa-overview.shtml
7% fixed for 12 months
tax free
You can get access if you need to by closing the account and getting a reduced interest rate
I think you'll also need to open a 1st Account, and maybe another savings account with them (to avoid paying charges for the 1st Account)0
