I know - the ballet pump in all its various forms is a godsend! i've just seen some fab Puma ballet pumps, which are calling me, but I'm going to resist!!
I have a pair of beautiful black suede high heeled shoes with thick black ribbons which go up the leg - I adore them and have had them since the mid 90's, they were from NEXT. I should just get rid of them really - I haven't worn them for 7 years but I can't bring myself to do it. I guess they are rather Burlesque if I think about it!

It is their policy to find you something suitable, so I took the only job that matched my childcare arrangements. I used to organise teacher training and support special educational needs officers. Now I am reporting on the progress of various projects across the education dept, and monitoring absences ( - moral problems with this one) and some other stuff that's a bit dull. I'm like a go-between, the busybody who won't stop calling you when you have other stuff to do! It is turning out to be 'okay' but it isn't exactly fulfilling.
I am good with numbers, I work well on my own, I love deadlines and pressure, and I am a bit of a perfectionist. On the other hand I like lots of contact with people (though maybe not too much) and working on something long-term. I am a bit of a gemini in that respect..
Those are niiiiice! The problem is that OH is around my height, an inch maybe two taller, so flats for me  Or mini wedges like these for work.
I get PAID tomorrow, did I mention that? I can't wait! Shoes, ,boots, trousers, here I come!
Hmmm - some kind of project management role maybe?
Liking the wedges:)
I used to wear flat shoes and trainers all the time but had a shoe epiphany about 7 years ago. I have a couple pairs that I have to practice walking in if I want to wear them out and I was about to delve into the world of platforms when Bean appeared but will save my pennies for something requiring less bakance for now:p
I get paid on Friday... bump wedges, maternity clothes and baby gros here I come:rotfl:26.2.19/14.1.19: T MC 3629.26/3629.26 : VM 0% 1050/13876.59 : W 0% 100/1485 = 4409.26/18990.85 =25.17%28.1.19/28.1.19 Hubs 0% £400/£2,977 =13.44%SPC 2019 #073

I got my shoes (the black ones, they didn't have the brown ones in my size) - nice shop assistant even let me in with one minute to closing time
Ooh they are wonderful, special occasion, or just to add to the collection?
I LOVE the brown too though.0 -
Project management - maybe.... I will get more of an insight in this job I suppose - might be room to manouvere too. Got to keep my options open - I think that's the most important thing.
Have I spelt manouvere right?
DS is making up for being miserable last night and is screaming his head off (happy screams I might add)
Best go play

now, shoes and boots and men (or women!) going *drool* over them I can understand.
But, (and I'm pretty open minded to say the least!!!) I've never got this kind of thing........

I mean - there's the idea that they have been worn (and may appeal to men with a certain 'penchant') but these are just, well, muddy and grimy!
I've got a cupboard full like that - it comes with walking a dog in the winter!!

Nah, nothing special, although I expect they'll make an appearance when I'm going out on Friday. Might pop back in tomorrow and see if they have any of the brown in
