I know we all have DFW goals, usually with a DFD in the future. I have been thinking about a few other things in my life today and I was wondering - do any of you set (flexible) timetables for other goals? Such as having a two/five/ten year plan etc.
yes, I've decided to grow up in Feb 19! seriously though I do have certain plans to be achieved over the next five years or so but sometimes have to re-evaluate and change goals - I'm dead fickle me.:oMortgage OP 2025 £7500/7000Mortgage OP 2024 £7700/7000

I love ALL the boots you keep tempting me with

I've got 2 pairs of brown boots, with nowt to wear with em. One pair, I just cant walk in, they're not even my size, but pre LBM, I fell in love and had to have em. Many years later, I've worn em once, but love them too much to get rid. The other pair are comfy, but I just need to buy some clothes to wear em with.
I [STRIKE]want[/STRIKE] need a nice pair of black boots, not too high, with decent soles so I dont fall in the winter, but that look like all those you lot have been showing us.Is it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches :think:Loves being a Wonderbra friend :kisses3:

nope, can't do any kind of heel at all daphne
I wear very flat pointy shoes or ballerina style pumps now, well, I say no, possibly an inch if it was a wide based heel. I bought a mega cheap pair of kitten heels to try to wear around the house to try to strengthen the ankle but have to walk with my hand on the wall and they are probably about an inch high
I also can't wear anything without a back to it such as flip flops or slip on mules as my left foot doesn't 'hold' the shoe as I walk.

So what is it you do now? A list of pros and cons is always a good place to start. Writing things down clarifies them for me
My job now is just filler - I work for the council, and they technically made me redundant whilst on maternity leave. It is their policy to find you something suitable, so I took the only job that matched my childcare arrangements. I used to organise teacher training and support special educational needs officers. Now I am reporting on the progress of various projects across the education dept, and monitoring absences ( - moral problems with this one) and some other stuff that's a bit dull. I'm like a go-between, the busybody who won't stop calling you when you have other stuff to do! It is turning out to be 'okay' but it isn't exactly fulfilling.
I am good with numbers, I work well on my own, I love deadlines and pressure, and I am a bit of a perfectionist. On the other hand I like lots of contact with people (though maybe not too much) and working on something long-term. I am a bit of a gemini in that respect..Hubbles is 6'1" and I'm 5'6" so I can get away with heels. I have some lovely Miss Sixty cowboy boots but they're pull on and the effort is just too much at the moment:p I'll probably get something with a mid stack heel such as these... so long as I can be confident I'm not going to fall if it gets slippy/snowy
Those are niiiiice! The problem is that OH is around my height, an inch maybe two taller, so flats for me  Or mini wedges like these for work.
I get PAID tomorrow, did I mention that? I can't wait! Shoes, ,boots, trousers, here I come!0 -

:grouphug: well it's a good job there's loads of nice flats to choose from this year! I struggle to find ballet flats to fit though, the bit where the ball of my foot is seems wide, though my foot itself isn't IYSWIM.Burlesque_Babe wrote: »nope, can't do any kind of heel at all daphne

Birkenstocks do good sandals with a strap at the back if you have ever tried them? Not cheap though

I do sort of - I can't say I've ever stuck to any plans I've made though
I have a vague idea of where I'm heading, but having a baby has skewed things a bit. Then I have moments of crisis where I feel my life is just drifting, aimlessly... is that so bad? I don't know... 0 -

Only fairly vaguely - I know I don't want to stay in this job for much longer than another couple of years.. I've got plans to do courses next year etc... I roughly know where I'm going on holiday next year (and have a list of places I want to visit in the next few years)... but nothing too concrete!Debt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0
