I have also bought cheap ones in Instore for £1, but I think the ecloths are better.
Agree, the cheaper ones aren't as good and don't last as long as e-cloths, which I have found the best to date. Anyone subscribing to Which? - I don't any longer, but I believe they have done a very recent report on microfibre cloths and the e-cloths came top.
How much are B&Q selling them for? I know Waitrose and John Lewis sell 2 for £8.99, and 5 for £16.99 (same price as in e-cloth webstore).0 -
I am another fan of microfibre cloths. I use them to clean most things. Spectacles, computer (all of it), furniture. I keep some especially for shoes and some for my floorboards. No dust swirling around just to settle elsewhere! (Assuming I do the dusting in the first place, of course  ).
They can be washed and last for quite a while.Be careful who you open up to. Today it's ears, tomorrow it's mouth.0 -

I saw the twin pack green general purpose and blue glass cloth in the Lisburn (N.I.) B & Q and I think they were about £3.99.
I agree the cheaper ones have a very funny feeling - like your skin is rough and the fabric is sticking to your hand. I've noticed some of the towels they sell in Lidl can feel like that too. Must be the same type of fabric.0 -

Only thing about a chamois is that it's needs more care to keep it in good condition.0 -
If I used one of these to clean my various LCDs (TVs and Monitors) would I need to clean it after every use? All my screens are fine but just need the dust removing so I don't need to clean any marks off, just wondering if the dust needs to be 'cleaned' if you will off the cloth0

3 for a £1 at home bargains.
excellent quality, very soft , no funny texture, pleasure to use - recommended.
have only just started using them,
now, would never be without them,
wish i had tried them sooner, anyway, better late than never!Nice to save.0 -

Nah. I have one by my 'puter, and use it for a while then I just wash it. Can't really say, perhaps after 6 or 7 dustings? These cloths can trap quite a lot of dust, so I just keep an eye on how grubby they get.Be careful who you open up to. Today it's ears, tomorrow it's mouth.0 -

Im a recent convert to micro-fibre cloths! They are fantastic for glass, high gloss worktops, windows, tiles, dusting, etc etc. I use them on wooden blinds and the dust is attracted to the cloths and dont seem to need doing every day but about every 3-4 days.
I bought 6 from ebay for £6 inc postage. Still have 3 in packets, but normally use one damp for dusting etc then use the dry one to buff up the tiles, worktop etc after using the damp one to clean IYKWIM.
They are fantastic and can not speak highly enough about them.
