Restore Points - How far back?

Using the restore point feature on windows xp you can ''wind'' your pc back days if not weeks. You don't have this option on windows vista. When doing a restore you can only go back to last two saved restore points. Is there a way of going further back?
Problem with having access to internet is that i get asked by many to solve their problems

You can get extra options on Vista for the restoration points, but it doesnt show weeks. However maybe if you restored to the earliest point, you would get earlier points if you get me? When it opens up, click next then there will be a box near the bottom left above the next/cancel buttons which says "Show restore points older than 5 days".
