Hi
We will be organising a pamper evening on a large scale and I thought about doing a little beauty bag to say thank you to people for coming. But where could I get some free samples from in a large qty.
I have tried about 5 places I could think of and all had a stupid reason and said NO.
???????
Can anyone help, has anyone done this before with success, please.
A little girl called Chelsea just turned 3 has Neuroblastoma, and we need to raise a lot of money to get her alternative treatment as survival rate is only 20% in UK.
Thanks

I emailed GreenPeople and Simple with a similar request, we wanted items for a Charity Fashion Show in October, both were very helpful. I also emailed Avon and got this reply.
Please send your requests in writing to the following address:
Donations
Avon Cosmetics Ltd
Nunn Mills Rd
Northampton NN1 5PA
Please include the following information:
- Charity or event the money is being raised for
- Details of the charity or cause
- How money will be raised
- What you require from Avon (i.e. Donations/Sponsorship)
- Details of the events being held (dates & times etc)
We can only consider written requests because of the high volume that we receive. We aim to respond to all requests within three weeks of receipt.
Its too close for me to write now but I hope it helps you.0 -
Hi Spixplay
I tried Avon for an auction prize for something else I wanted to do, but they responded saying no as they support breast cancer charity. I will contact the other you have mentioned. I did contact l'oreal, estee lauder and a couple of others, they have said no aswell :-(
Feel like I am hitting my head against a brick wall, wrote to businesses in my local own and hardly any response, to that event has been put on hold. Now this idea, but again, lots of decline, Its so hard.0 -
Hi
I found the same thing big companies get so many request they just start saying no to everyone.
When doing our goodie bags, we contacted other charities and offered to include there merchandise into the bags to help promote there cause whilst helping us keep our cost's down. Most were more than pleased to help.
Keep Smiling. Youre get there.0 -
Also try to big departments stores, like clarins, estee lauder counter etc. they get loads of samples and may give you a hand full of each.
Also see if you have a race for life in your area, sometimes they have sapre bags and will doanate what is left on the day rather than take to their next event.0 -

I did one like this and my local boosts gave me two huge bags of samples and extra little goodies they had lying around,(you do have to write a letter explaining what its for ) used as prizes and for the goodie bags. Also had a lady from the dior counter came along did free make overs with a few samples, may be worth asking your local counter.People who live in glass houses shouldnt throw stones...
It is much easier to see other people's failings than our own.0 -
