Clinics aren't actually allowed to give discounts on powdered baby formula, it is against the law.

I do remember when my DS2 was born (ok, so its 12 years ago now) that the clinics sold formula at a cheaper price than other shops, maybe not a discount as such, more like they didn't add on any extra marketing etc costs. I couldn't tell you how much cheaper it was as I Bf my boys but lots of people on low incomes would buy theirs there as it was cheaper. Maybe this is what Cw18 means?
Did people on income support not get some tokens for free milk (formula or cows'?) or has this changed?
It's only a game

it was a good couple of quid a tin cheaper than the supermarkets -- so I assume the clinic must have sold at 'cost' instead of 'cost plus'
My DD just referred to it as 'discounted' when she asked me to pick it up for her
ETA: I think the vouchers are now for fresh milk, fruit and vegetables - but I don't know if it's different for an 'under 1' still as the latest changes have happened since after my younger GD reached that age.Cheryl0 -

I don't think that anyone be it a supermarket, chemist etc are suppose to give an incentive for you to buy baby milk products. So believe with boots etc you can't get points on it.
