  • wooo there sailor, outsider alert!!

    ps how do you thank?

It was just an observation, why does a house need two of the same thing when another house could have benefited?!

It's the blue button saying 'Thanks', right next to the one saying 'Quote'. You managed to find that one I see :)

Just to add my bit, it's not about being emotional or insular, it's about your attack on a person who spends an awful lot of time posting the comps we all enter. For that we're all extremely grateful and to have someone come and slate them for winning 2 of the same prize is just plain rude. That's why you've been flamed.

i appreciate that this is quite an insular board, and they are protective of their own. I do alos apprecaite the time people put in to post up comps, however i only enter COMPS i want to win. So its about 5 - 10 a week. If you can all remove yourself from the emotion of this protective state and see that one house winning two of the same item is greedy, someone could have benefited from that item.

It appears that the comping community is very different to how i see the situation.

Someone did benefit from the Item. :)

Damn, I guess I shouldn't be buying 2 lottery tickets.....

This is one of the least insular and most welcoming boards there is - provided you pull your weight; how self-centred do you have to be to not even click on the Thanks button!

I speak as somone who doesn't participate fully and has thrown her toys out of the pram when she has felt she has been ignored:o - what I realised and apparently you don't about yourself, is that I am a grumpy g** who needs to get a grip:D

Try reading this winners board properly and congratulating a few people - it feels really good to be part of such a warm community. Some wins have moved me nearly to tears - and when someone reported a BIG win over Christmas I was so excited for her I was practically doing a lap of honour myself:rotfl::rotfl:

Does this mean that if I win some chocolate I should never, ever, ever again enter any comps again if chocolate is the prize? Even if I ate the chocolate 2 years ago & haven't had any since?:rotfl::rotfl:

Well done on all winners & keep up the good work with posting all your lovely pics - I suggest all future pics are taken with the prize being strategically positioned in front of a mirror or 2 with the title - here are the 14 50" super dooper plasma tellys I won:D
